Mead Lake was a buzz of activity Saturday, Feb. 1 as ice fishing contest goers braved the wind to support a good cause. With no entry fee to compete and food and refreshments available in the on shore warming shelter, the Loyal Sportsman’s Club hosted ice fishers from around the area. Included in the day’s events at Mead Lake were a meat raffle, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and gun raffles as well.
Winners for fishing categories were as follows:
