Clue #3
Are you searching for little Liberty Bell?
Begin by a large model….not near the hotel.
Then facing east, 250 steps take.
Look for Old Glory. Don’t make a mistake.
Not the same fabric that Betsy Ross would use.
Think “outside the box” as you connect clues.
Washington and Jefferson on horses rode.
Transportation today is of a different mode.
Rules
1. Clues will be given in the Enterprise Sentinel and on the city website for three weeks.
2. First person to find the Bell and follow the instructions located with it will be declared the winner.
3. The Bell will be hidden somewhere in the city of Owen.
4. The Bell will not be hidden on O-W School grounds, on or near the railroad tracks, on the water tower, or on church property.
5. No tools are needed to find the Bell.
6. Do not damage property while searching for the Bell.
7. Anyone is eligible to search for the Bell except members of the Owen Jr. Fair Committee, employees of the City of Owen, or employees of the Enterprise Sentinel.
8. If the Bell is not found by Saturday, September 12, a final clue will be handed to searchers gathered at the Fairground food stand at 9 a.m.
9. The winner will be awarded $100.
