Alexander John Drinka, age 37, of Greenwood, formerly of Chili, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Kourtland House in Greenwood.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Alex was born on July 28, 1987, the son of Donald Drinka and Brenda Wilke in Marshfield. He graduated from Neillsville High School in 2008. Alex enjoyed bowling, music, watching videos, riding in the car, shopping and being around people.
Alex is survived by his grandmother, Ellen Wilke; his father, Donald (Lori) Drinka and the Drinka family; two half siblings: Ashley Mohr and Tyler Mohr; his aunt, Sandy (Mark) Welniak; his uncle, James (Melissa) Drinka; his step-father, Lucas Mikkelsen; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends and his special family at the Kourtland House in Greenwood that Alex had grown to love and that cared for him for the past six years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda in 2014 and his grandfather, Virgil Wilke.
