Blood donation opportunity on August 5

Posted

The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the last appointments available at 4:45.
Those donating at this blood drive will receive a $15 e-gift card to a merchant of choice by e-mail. Since we do not have a June drive, ice cream treats celebrating June Dairy Month will be available.
There are 97 appointments available, with the majority of the current open appointments being available between 2:00 and 4:00. Please help by filling those openings. An hour of your life could save the rest of someone’s life. The last drive fell short of its goal by only a couple units and with your help, we can exceed the goal of 65 units. Students, 16 years old (with parental consent) and over, are encouraged to start a lifetime of donating blood. Using Rapid Pass will allow donors to complete required reading, health history and registration online before entering the donation area. If you cannot keep an appointment, cancel in advance so the time is available for someone else. Please come and donate to help this drive reach its goal. For appointments or any questions concerning the Blood Drive, call the Red Cross at 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or Linda Barna at 715-229-4320.
