Mother’s Day/Mother Goose Craft Kits available in May

The new craft kits are here. Each kit contains a variety of projects including: Building your own Mother Goose, Humpty Dumpty, Little Bo Peep and her sheep, Jack and Jill, Old Woman who lived in a shoe and all her kids, Miss Muffet and spider that sat down beside her, Little Boy Blue and his horn that really blows sound, and so much more. Also, a Hickory Dickory Dock Activity Book, a bag filled with treats, blowing bubbles, and bouncy balls. Don’t forget to take a picture of your completed project for the library, so you can claim a prize from our chest of books and toys.

Parent and Child Jewelry Design Day

Looking for a fun way to celebrate Mother’s Day? Then swing by the Withee Public Library on Saturday, May 11. And from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. you can make a variety of jewelry for the ones you love! You can also make a jewelry box to hold everything that you build! Everyone is welcome to attend! Mothers, fathers, grandparents, children, and grandchildren! Drinks and snacks will also be available.

A fun adventure is running from May 1 to August 31. For four months, all 10 libraries of Clark County will be participating in the Passport Adventures Program. Anyone interested will be issued a Library Passport available at any of the libraries (1 per household.) Then you will need to visit each library to get their official stamp, and write down some unique feature about the library in your passport. Once you have completely filled your passport with each stamp, turn it into any of the libraries, and then on September 20, the winners and their prizes will be announced.

Withee Library hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Closed May 27 for Memorial Day.
