The 2026 Clark County HCE Cultural Arts contest was held on April 18 at Posy Patch at our annual HCE day event and luncheon.
The judges were Donna Voss and Mary Neunfeldt. There were 24 items entered with 12 items selected to go to state competition in Eau Claire in September. They are as follows:
Lois Becker- Diamond Art
Donna Eckes- Embroidery
Debbie Gries- Acrylic Painting, Watercolor, Embossed-Engraved metal, Pieced- Bed Quilt
Roberta Hansen- Wood Applique
Mary Nauertz- Sewing-Pillow
Deb Ortner-Hand quilted- large quilt and small quilt, Machine quilted- table runner
Joanne Trunkel- Fabric Basket
Debbie Gries also received the People’s Choice Award for her large tote bag.
We collected $64.98 for Pennies for Friendship.
