Clark County Health Department announces Fall vaccine opportunities

This fall, the Clark County Health Department (CCHD) is offering flu and COVID vaccines to help protect community members before respiratory viruses peak. Flu vaccines are recommended for everyone six months and older, and COVID vaccines are recommended for most adults and children, especially those at high risk for disease-related complications. Community members can choose from several upcoming clinic options to stay healthy throughout the season.
The CCHD has the following vaccines available (while supplies last):
Children (Age 6 Months – 18 Years)
• Flu vaccine at no-cost for children who meet Vaccines for Children (VFC) criteria.
• Flu vaccine at no-cost for all children, regardless of insurance status, if they attend a mass flu vaccine clinic location.
• COVID vaccine at no-cost to children who meet Vaccines for Children (VFC) criteria.
Adults (Age 19+)
• Standard dose flu vaccine for adults with a billable insurance company listed below. Otherwise, this vaccine is available for a private pay cost of $60.
• Flu vaccine at no-cost for adults who meet Vaccines for Adults (VFA) criteria.
• COVID vaccine for adults with a billable insurance company listed below. Otherwise, this vaccine is available for a private pay cost of $220.
Adults (Age 65+)
• High-dose flu vaccine for adults with a billable insurance company listed below. Otherwise, this vaccine is available for a private pay cost of $105.
The CCHD is able to bill the following insurance carriers: Aspirus Health Plan, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid/BadgerCare+, Medicare, Security Health Plan, Security Administrative Services, UMR and United HealthCare. You must present your insurance card(s).
