Cosmic Vapes, LLC, owned by Jen and Austin Hogan, opened at 218 North Central Avenue in Owen on December 1. They are currently open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. as they figure out what is the best time to be open to better serve their customers.

Jen had shoulder surgery and can’t do factory work anymore, so did some research to see if it would be feasible to open her own business. She wanted it to be something sustainable. She said vapes are popular now and there isn’t a lot of that type of product available in the Owen-Withee area. She also noted that vaping doesn’t smell like cigarette smoking does.

Currently she is getting help from family and friends to keep the shop open when she can’t be there, but Jen eventually hopes to hire an employee.

Jen said, “Those that have stopped in have been positive about it. It is nice to see people come in and check it out.” She noted that people are even coming from surrounding towns to check out what she has in stock.

Jen has been educating herself about the products and said they follow all Wisconsin laws related to the sale of CBD and Delta. She also encourages people to keep their receipts until the product that they purchase is gone. You have to be 21 years of age to purchase these products.

Cosmic Vapes offers a Loyalty Card for discounts to regular customers. They also offer discounts to emergency services and medical personnel.

You can get it touch with them through their Facebook page, by phone at 715-229-0175, or email at cosmicvapes@gmail.com.

Stop in and check out one of the newest businesses on Owen’s main street.
