Doris M. Lund, age 87, of Withee, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 at the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center under the tender care of Heartland Hospice. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.
Doris was born on October 10, 1937, the daughter of Arnold and Martha Rasmussen. She graduated from Withee High School and earned her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate. Doris worked for many years as a CNA at Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center.
Doris retired and moved to Texas. After her grandchildren were born, she moved back to the Owen area. Doris was an avid walker. She especially enjoyed being with her family and friends.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Jona Hatlestad of Withee; two twin-granddaughters: Kyan and Tegan; her sister, Janet Hannel (Tim) of Peoria, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jason Knittle; her sister, Helen Ruggles; and her son-in-law, Troy Hatlestad.
