On Saturday April 27, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and other area police departments participated in the Annual Drug Take Back Day. Approximately 204.8 pounds of pharmaceutical drugs were turned in, including 15.8 pounds in Owen, 12.6 pounds in Greenwood, and 44.6 pounds in Neillsville. In addition the areas with permanent drop boxes recorded the following: 29.4 pounds in Loyal and 102.4 pounds at the Sheriff’s Office.
