On Saturday, April 26, the Owen-Withee Police Department, along with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and other area police departments participated in the Annual Drug Take Back Day. A total of 87 pounds of pharmaceutical drugs were turned in, including 57.4 pounds in Owen, 13 pounds in Neillsville, and 16.6 pounds in Greenwood. Owen-Withee Officer Jake Haugstad was at the Owen collection point. Unused drugs can be turned in throughout the year at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Thorp Police Department, and Colby/Abbotsford Police Department.
