July 28 through August 1 Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Longwood hosted Vacation Bible School for area youth with the theme of "Road Trip - On the Go with God." Approximately 30 youth attended the program learning about different people in the Bible that traveled, sharing God's love! Along with learning the story they had crafts, science projects, snacks, and songs that went with the story of the day. The offering collected through the week went to purchase gas cards for people in need. Additionally, the youth put together "Blessing Bags" for area truckers, showing thanks for always being "on the go."
