On Monday July 21, 2025, at about 9:07 p.m., the Clark County Sheriff’s Office responded to a theft complaint near the City of Owen in the Township of Longwood.
While the Deputy was investigating the complaint, the reporting party said that there was some explosive material inside the residence and that they would like to have it removed.
The Marathon County Bomb Squad was called and responded to the residence. They arrived there a short time later and removed the explosive material from the home. They then transported it to the Owen city dump where it was made safe.
No other information is being released at this time.
