FFA Alumni annual breakfast at Black River Orchard has record turnout

Posted

The O-W FFA Alumni & Supporters held their annual Breakfast at the Orchard on Saturday, September 7. Breakfast included regular and apple pancakes, maple syrup, sausage, scrambled eggs, cheese, ice cream, milk and apple cider.

In spite of the chilly weather, approximately 700 people were served breakfast. There were barrel train rides and a play area for the youngest attendees. Everyone who attended had the option of taking wagon rides through the orchard or to and from their vehicles. Apples, cider, and maple syrup were available for purchase. Anyone who was interested could also pay their fee and take a chance on winning money from the Cash Cow.

Funds raised during this successful event will help support O-W FFA students and programs.
