On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 7, the Owen-Withee-Curtiss Fire Department was called to a structure fire at the Al Goerlitz farm west of Withee. Due to the close proximity of trees and other buildings, they called for mutual aid from Greenwood Fire Dept., Loyal Fire Dept., Stetsonville Fire Dept., and Central Fire & EMS. Crews were on scene for about 2½ to 3 hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
