Frank M. Kowalski, age 90, of Withee, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Marshfield Medical Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen. Father Stanislaus Michael Antony will officiate. Inurnment to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.
Frank was born on May 15, 1934, the son of Michael and Tillie Kowalski in Lublin. He was united in marriage to Darlene Brodbeck on October 27, 1956 in Chicago, IL. Frank worked at various cheese factories in Owen, Curtiss and Abbotsford.
Frank enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and gardening. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Frank will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Frank is survived by his wife of 67 years, Darlene; his son, Michael (Brenda) of Independence and step-grandchildren. He is further survived by two sisters-in-law: Barbara (Scott) Ramberg and Margaret Strohkirch, both of Withee.
He is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings: John, Mary, Haddie, Felix and Joseph.
