Want to serve your village? If that’s you, we’ve got news. Candidates for spring elections will soon be chosen, via caucuses at Gilman and Lublin.
Up for election this spring at Gilman are the posts of village president and three trustee seats. Current incumbents for the seats in question at Gilman are Village President Jane DeStaercke along with Trustees Russell Baker, Bob Preston, and Mark Person.
A caucus will be held Jan. 8 at 5:45 p.m. at Gilman Village Hall, prior to the regular village board meeting.
As for Lublin, village board positions on the ballot this spring include Village President Randy Madlon, along with Trustees Christine Compagnone and Fr. Hermann Klarr. The caucus for Lublin village board candidates will be held with the January village board meeting. The caucus date will be posted after Jan. 2 and at least five days before the caucus. Check the village hall or post office for details.
