The Gilman Farmer’s Market is open! Taking place Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. June 19 to October 2 on Third Avenue South in Gilman, the Farmer’s Market is a chance to get out and see what local farmers have to offer.
Also at Gilman, the Village Board recently approved Class A and Class B intoxicating liquor licenses June 11, with Class A licenses including the Gilman Corner Store at 180 East Main Street, Gilman Retail LLC at 485 East Main Street, and Dolgen DBA Dollar General at 1100 East Main Street. Class B licenses were approved for Grand Central Station at 185 East Main Street, the Grand Gilman Theater at 230 East Main Street, Vault Village LLC at 280 East Main Street, and Celebrations Hall LLC at 235 East Main Street.
As for other items from Village Board on June 11, the Trustees voted to approve CMOM, while no action was taken this month on public nuisance or chip seal items. Standing for Capacity, Management, Operation, and Maintenance, the CMOM program is related to the village sanitary sewer and is required by the DNR.
Gilman village board meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month in the village hall at 6 p.m. The public is invited.
