Residents and visitors are invited to celebrate Lublin Days 2026 from Friday, July 24, through Sunday, July 26, as the community marks a milestone year honoring America's 250th anniversary. The three-day celebration will feature softball, fireworks, a parade, food, music and family activities throughout the weekend.
Festivities begin Friday, July 24, with the start of the softball tournament at 7 p.m. Concessions will be available at the ball diamond throughout the weekend. Teams interested in participating may register by contacting Don at (715)773-2805.
Saturday's activities open with the Lublin American Legion Post 547 Steak and Egg Breakfast, beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing until the food is gone. Softball tournament games resume at 9 a.m.
The evening will feature fireworks at dusk, approximately 9:30 p.m., sponsored by Connell's Combustibles. A DJ will provide music at the ballfield beginning at 8 p.m. and continuing into the evening.
Bake sales will be held Saturday and Sunday.
The celebration concludes Sunday, July 26, beginning with softball games resuming at 9 a.m. A charcoal chicken dinner, prepared by Lublin American Legion Post 547, will be served at the park and pavilion starting at 10:30 a.m. until sold out.
The annual parade steps off at 1 p.m. with the theme "God Bless America." Organizers are highlighting three major anniversaries: America's 250th birthday, the American Legion's 70 years in Lublin, and 50 years of Lublin Days. Parade registration begins at 11:30 a.m. at the corner of Railroad and East streets. Participants with questions may contact Erin Kroeplin at (715)773-2520.
Following the parade, La Crosse 40 & 8 will offer locomotive rides at the Legion Hall. Additional afternoon activities beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday include the Cynor Classics at the park and pavilion, pierogi serving at the pavilion and a paint room pottery for children.
The celebration is sponsored by NextGen, Lublin American Legion Post 547, Lublin American Legion Auxiliary Unit 547, the Village of Lublin and Olynick Management.
