On Saturday, April 27 the Owen Centennial Committee will be having a fundraiser at A & W from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Local businesses will be donating gift baskets that we will be raffling off. Also, we will be selling raffle tickets with proceeds going towards our centennial celebration next year. Dee Wells will also be sharing some of the profits of sales at A&W that day so please come with a healthy appetite. Some of the planned events for the centennial celebration include a lumberjack show, a tree planting ceremony, dinner theater, and a tour of some of the historical sites in Owen.
Have a good week. Until next time.
