The Owen-Withee Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors met on Wednesday, February 5. Their first order of business was to elect officers for 2025. Carey Hargot was elected president, Misty Standke vice-president, Cindy Cardinal secretary, and Linda Susa treasurer.
Planning also began for the annual Business Expo to be held on April 5 at the Old School. In addition to the exhibits and presentations, a breakfast is planned again this year.
The Chamber voted to help sponsor fireworks for Owen’s Centennial and will donate $1,000 toward the fireworks.
The board is still trying to reclaim the website that the Chamber used to have. The domain was auto-renewed in December, but no one knows who is paying for it. If anyone has any information, they are asked to contact a Chamber board member.
