The crowds were small on Friday night between the cold and many choosing to attend the football game. But they grew on Saturday and were even larger on Sunday. Young and old enjoyed rides, games, music, bingo, and food. A couple of new events were added this year, including axe throwing and arm wrestling. The Knights of Columbus provided a chicken dinner on Sunday and the Holly Rosary PCCW supplied pies and ice cream.
The parade had 53 floats this year and lasted for over an hour as everyone came out to celebrate 100 years of Owen being a city.
