The O-W Blackhawk Archery Team traveled to Louisville, KY to compete at the 2024 Eastern Nationals held May 9-11. Bullseye and 3D teams both qualified to compete this year. Over 15,072 bullseye archers and 6,709 3D archers competed this year. Nineteen O-W bullseye archers participated but the team just missed qualifying for the NASP Championship Tournament that will be held in Daytona Beach, FL June 6-8. However, three archers qualified on their individual score: Mike Wells (258), Easton Ruggles (275), and Reegan Ruggles (275).

The 3D Archery Team performed well and qualified for the NASP Championship. This is the first time Owen-Withee will ever have archers participating. The Centershot National Bullseye and 3D Tournaments also were in Louisville during the same time. Multiple O-W archers participated in these events. Three archers also participated in the IBO Genesis Indoor Championship. Archers shoot 3D targets that are randomly placed anywhere from 10 yards to 20 yards and get one arrow at each target. Max score is 330. Out of the 231 MS girls that entered this tournament, Reegan, Maggie, and Sydnee did great. Reegan Ruggles – 274 / 330 – 18th place, Maggie Ebert – 269 / 330 – 24th place, and Sydnee Ruggles – 248 – 58th place.
