O-W-C Fire and EMS held their annual fundraising dance at Munson Bridge Winery on Saturday, August 1 from 6-10 p.m. The community had the opportunity to support our local fire and EMS through bucket raffles, card raffles and silent auction items that were donated by various businesses. There was also a special raffle for kids. The items were set up on tables under the tent with drawings happening every hour throughout the event.
Those in attendance were treated to music by “Gone Sovereign.” There were two food trucks to provide sandwiches and desserts. In addition, people could purchase wine, beer, and soda throughout the evening.
Fire and EMS personnel were in attendance selling raffle tickets and showing off the fire trucks and new ambulance that were parked on the grounds. Noel Barteck announced the raffle winners. Funds raised will be put toward outfitting one of the ambulances as a bariatric rig.
