Owen-Withee FFA represents at state convention
Musically talented FFA members from across Wisconsin are selected yearly as part of the FFA Honors Band and Chorus. Four members from Owen-Withee are a part of this year's ensemble.
FFA members audition each spring for the opportunity to be selected to the FFA Honors Band and Chorus. These groups practiced and performed throughout the FFA State Convention.
Dr. Temple Grandin was the Keynote Speaker at the 2026 Wisconsin FFA State Convention & Expo. Owen-Withee FFA members had an opportunity to visit with her during a meet and greet during the event.
Former Owen-Withee FFA Vice President Lydia Lobacz hosted a workshop at the Wisconsin FFA State Convention & Expo about Drone Technology in Agriculture. She is a student at Chippewa Valley Technical College, majoring in Agronomy Management, and is interning this summer for Patriot Drone Services in Durand.
Kabella Olson was selected as a 2026 recipient of the Wisconsin FFA Three-Star Leader Award, which honors FFA members around the state who were a key part to a chapter's successful Program of Activities in the previous year.

Carmen Frese and Gavin Sowieja-Kayhart were honored at the 2026 Wisconsin FFA Convention & Expo as recipients of the Wisconsin FFA State Degree. This is the highest honor the State Association can bestow upon its members, and is earned through enrollment in Ag classes, community service hours, and hours or wages earned in their SAE projects.
Jack Wendler of the Owen-Withee FFA Chapter was honored at the Wisconsin FFA Convention & Expo as the individual winner of the Farm Business CDE Competition.
Sam Young of the Owen-Withee FFA Chapter was honored at the Wisconsin FFA Convention & Expo as a recipient of the Blue Jacket Legacy Program. The Wisconsin State FFA Officer Team selects deserving members from across the state to receive their own FFA Jacket. A record number of jackets were presented this year through the Wisconsin FFA Blue Jacket Legacy Program.
