The Owen-Withee Elementary School participated in National Read Across America week March 3-7, with guest readers and dress up days. During the Dress-up days students were encouraged to dress like a friend, read with a stuffy and dress like your stuffy, dress like your future self, dress in Blackhawk gear or red and black and dress comfy and cozy. Events for the week included reading with a friend and a stuffy. Community members and high school students came to read in classrooms. On Friday, families were invited in to read with their students.
