Meet Courage, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Courage came to CCHS from a local farm where there were too many puppies. Courage is a Red Heeler and has a handsome short-haired coat that is red and white with lots of speckles. And check out those awesome ears! Courage is 3½ months old and weighs 16 pounds. Courage is a happy boy with an upbeat personality. He is always excited to see people when they come up to his kennel to visit, with a little tail that is always wagging. Being a Heeler, Courage is a smart guy ready for lots of training so that he grows up to be a good dog. If you have just the right spot for a good boy like Courage, please apply to adopt him today. You can submit your adoption application for Courage on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt. We have lots of wonderful pets available for adoption now, especially puppies and kittens, so please check them all out and then stop in to visit!

Save the Date! The 2nd Annual Community, Crafts and Causes event is coming up on Saturday, October 5, from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Clark County Fairgrounds. There will be lots of crafters and local artisans to check out, and donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for local food pantries. Food concessions will be available from American Legion Post 73-Neillsville. Best of all, there will be a huge raffle with amazing prizes, with all ticket sales benefitting CCHS! We're really looking forward to it, and hope you are too!
