The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the last appointments available at 4:45.
Those donating will receive a $10 Amazon.com Gift Card by email and automatically be entered for a chance to win one of three $5,000 gift cards!
There are 114 appointments available, with the majority of the current open appointments being available between 2:00 and 4:00. Please help by filling those openings. An hour of your life could save the rest of someone’s life. The last drive collected 95 units, exceeding the goal of 78 units. With the help of the donors, we can do that again, helping to ease the current blood shortage! Students, 16 years old (with parental consent) and over, are encouraged to start a lifetime of donating blood. Using Rapid Pass will allow donors to complete required reading, health history and registration online before entering the donation area. If you cannot keep an appointment, cancel in advance so the time is available for someone else. Please come and donate to help this drive reach its goal. For appointments or any questions concerning the Blood Drive, call the Red Cross at 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or Linda Barna at 715-229-4320.
