The Owen Public Library is sponsoring Storyteller Tracy Chipman as part of the “Color Our World” summer library program. The show will be held at the Farmers Market on Saturday, June 21, at 11:00 a.m. Be sure to come early so you can browse the vendor booths and allow the children to play at the park or ride on the train.
Tracy Chipman makes her home in northern Wisconsin on the Lake Superior shore. She has been a storyteller for 30 years and has performed several times in the Owen-Withee area. She will be presenting A Rainbow of Stories. “The world is a feast of colorful experiences and stories. Come listen to a tale and see all the colors of the world!” This program is appropriate for all ages, and there is no cost to attend. The Owen Library is grateful to Wisconsin Valley Library Service for funding this event through a grant.
A staff member from the Owen Public Library will be at the Farmer’s Market on June 21 and 28, July 12, 19 and 26 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you are enrolled in the summer library program, please stop in and update us on your reading or art challenge progress. If you are not signed up for the Color Our World summer program, you can do that at the library or the Farmers Market.
