I love hearing news of things that occur that are just different, strange, or even somewhat unexplainable.  The BBC News had an online article today about a mysterious, mirrored object that is now out in the desert north of Las Vegas. And this isn't the first time this has occurred! In 2020, several of these types of structures just sort of appeared in the desert, and sort of caught a lot of people by surprise.  They appeared in California, England and Romania then. But this time, it appears to be just the one that was found.

The Las Vegas Police had a search operation going for some missing persons, and one of their search helicopters found the strange structure.  It's a rectangular item, mirrored, standing up about 8-12 feet tall off the desert floor. And it looks strangely clean and new, without any notable ground disturbances to explain how it got out there! But most notably, nobody has claimed responsibility for them. And most officials are guessing that it is part of a unique and interesting art installation, seeing as they are inert, away from most people, and causing no harm.

I will say that I'm also puzzled as to how people manage to get these things built and put into place, and nobody has any idea of how it occurs. I find myself actually wishing for the people doing this to speak up and share that they're doing it, and also share HOW they are doing it!  Especially with leaving no obvious or visible indication of HOW they got things miles out into the desert, and completely undetected. Or come to think of it, constructed without anyone having any record of sale of the materials used...  I hope that one day, we can learn how these things have popped up!
