The Owen-Withee Lions Club along with Prevail Bank and Forward Bank are working together to provide school supplies to students in need. The annual Stuff the Bus program began on August 1 and will run until September 2. During that time people may drop off school supplies at Prevail Bank in Owen and Forward Bank in Withee. Especially needed supplies include #2 pencils, colored pencils, wide ruled notebooks, two pocket folders, earbuds, large glue sticks, Clorox wipes, Expo markers, and boys and girls athletic shoes. Supplies will be dropped off at the O-W Elementary School by the first day of school.
The Lions Club is also providing funds to purchase supplies. Let's all work together to make this a successful community project.
