Call to Order: 5:33 p.m. - Present were: Pastor Elizabeth Bier, Cindy Cardinal, Chuck Petersen, Cathy Laube, Ruth Thompson and Noel Barteck.

Treasurer’s Report:  Ruth provided a spreadsheet for the transactions from April to the present. She noted that we received $1,184 from Prevail Bank as a result of their Shred Day Fundraising event, St. John’s continues their monthly donations, and both Emmanuel Lutheran and the UCC donated. Our current balance is $7,310.18. Monthly expenditures for Feed My People are averaging just over $200. Motion to accept: Pastor Elizabeth, second, Cathy - all ayes.

Ordering Specialists report:  Cathy reported that she has been delivering food to 6 families through the summer on an every-other-week schedule. Twenty-one youngsters are benefitting from this, and it has been well received.

Feed My People input for the program:  No one from FMP was present and they did not email a response for feedback

Feedback from school:  No representative joined the meeting, and no response was sent regarding any changes to the number of bags requested. The Elementary Open House is 8/22 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. - Cathy and Noel will have a table at the open house to explain the Kids’ Meals program to attendees.

Summer School – runs August 26 - 29 and we could schedule bag preparation for August 27 - it was decided to wait with distribution until the regular school year is under way.

Noel will check with Julie and Kristi at school to see if they are using the refrigerator that had been purchased with funds from the Marshfield Area Community Foundation, and if Cathy needs to order food to stock it.

Set date for next meeting – We decided to call a meeting in mid-September if it is needed.

Other business: The possibility of conducting one, or more, 50/50 fundraisers at basketball games was discussed.  (We might try a football game, too - my thought.) Permission would need to be obtained from the coaches and administration; and a Class B raffle license would need to be obtained.

Adjourn: 5:53 p.m. - Motion by Cindy, second by Ruth; all ayes.
