Charles and Margaret Withee paid a visit to the Withee Public Library on July 23 as they research their Withee family roots. Charles was born in Rochester, NY in 1947. They have known of the village for years, but had never visited. So while visiting with their friends, Kate and Frank Croll Jr. decided to pay Withee, WI a visit.
They learned about how the village of Withee came to be. They learned a lot of history, looked at a number of photos, and enjoyed seeing the library. Margaret said, “The amount of history Louise Olszewski has compiled was absolutely unbelievable.” She added their family would be thrilled with all the information that they learned about Withee, WI. They are still trying to determine if they are related to the village’s founder.
