On March 18, 19 youth from all over Clark County completed the five week archery classes sponsored by the Clark County 4-H Shooting Sports Program. Youth are divided into beginner and intermediate classes, where they learn the basic parts of a bow and arrow, proper shooting form, and - above all - bow safety. Of course, there are also a variety of target shooting activities!
Course instructors were Heidi Bower and Justin Kloth. We would like to give a big Thank You to the Black River Sportsmen Club for letting us use the clubhouse. We would also like to thank A&W in Withee for their donation of coupons for free root beer floats as well as the Withee BP for donating pizza for our end of class pizza party.
