It was an ideal autumn day for Breakfast at the Orchard on Saturday, September 6. The temperature was a little on the cool side for the event hosted by the FFA Alumni at Finkelson’s Black River Orchard. Available to eat was regular pancakes, apple pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, applesauce and apple cider. There was soft serve ice cream available that most people had after the breakfast. Kids could play on the playground. There were also wagon rides available in addition to the FFA’s portable basketball trailer. And there were apples, apple cider, honey, and maple syrup available for purchase.
