Mark your calendars and get ready for your one Special weekend of unique art shopping!!!
Join us for our 14th annual Clark County “Spring into the Arts” Friday, April 26, 2024, from 2 p.m.–7 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. hosted by Clark County Economic Development Corporation & Tourism Bureau. Enjoy a weekend driving along the scenic roads of Clark County meeting artists in their studios and gathering spots to view and purchase their creations. The tour features the finest artists, guest artists and their designs - painters, potters, woodworkers, metal workers, jewelers, weavers, glass workers, mixed media and much more. Joining us this year are 12 host sites with many intriguing art studios, plus many sponsors offering fantastic food, lodging, and fun shopping opportunities. Spend your weekend relaxing and just enjoying yourself!
New this year is Steeple Gallery and Creative Center, Dorchester. Come enjoy a tour through their gallery and check out a wide variety of artwork including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, jewelry and much more. They also offer instructional art workshops for art enthusiasts of all ages.
Also, new this year is the 1891 Winery, Greenwood, with a warm historical environment that welcomes everyone. They are locally owned and operated offering wine, beer, and gifts. The history of this small town is reflected everywhere in the shop, from the furniture to the artwork on the walls, even the names of the wines. Come visit artist Joseph Nycz with his beautiful wood craft turnings and carvings while you’re there.
One of our many cluster points is The Old School, located in “Historic” Downtown Owen hosting eight artists (three new this year) featuring jewelry, outdoor metal art, handwoven rugs, purses, hand-built and wheel thrown pottery, floral and landscape designs and more.
Visit the Christine Center with eight accomplished artists (five new this year) joining them using various mediums and styles, with subjects ranging from the whimsical to the sublime. Live drumming, singing bowls, painting, and SoulCollage experiences will be available at various times during the tour. Come experience their beautiful bookstore and meditation spaces, and sample delicious, intriguing tea and treats.
Nestled in the rolling hills of North Mound is where you will find the historic barn of Patrick J’s Imagination. Patrick offers one-of-a-kind wood furniture and wood art. Something you won’t want to miss. He will also have new artist Jim Gregorich joining him this year with his barn wood wall art. Other host sites/artists in the lovely Willard area this year are Ron Volovsek who creates handcrafted wooden décor, outdoor planters, birdhouses, trees, indoor home décor and more. Also, Jason Lamovec who makes one of a kind beautiful rustic furniture.
