Cadet Treyton Allan Thomas, son of Troy and Brenda Thomas of Greenwood, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Thomas graduated from Greenwood High School in 2020. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in Business Management and Applied Statistics. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Engineers branch and will report to Fort Riley, Kansas for his first assignment.
The U.S. Military Academy's mission is "to build, educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets to be commissioned leaders of character committed to the Army Values and ready for a lifetime of service to the Army and Nation”.
Treyton’s grandparents are Allan and Linda Dallman and his great-grandparents were Elmer and Helen Haselow, who owned the hardware store in Owen.
