Save Santa from the Grinch Escape Room
The Grinch is being extra mean this year and has kidnapped Santa Claus and hidden him somewhere in the library. He has left behind a series of clever clues and riddles to cover his trail, and it is up to you to solve them. Make your way through the Escape Room to save Santa, and if you succeed, you win a prize from our Toy Chest, filled with a variety of treasures. The Save Santa from the Grinch Escape Room will run from Saturday, December 13- Saturday, January 10, during our open hours.
Winter Kits available in December
The new holiday craft kits are now available at the Withee Library. Some of the projects include a Gingerbread Man Wreath, a beaded Christmas Tree and Santa Claus, gingerbread houses, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and a variety of ornaments. It also includes a bag of toys and treats. And don’t forget that if you let the library take a picture of one of your completed projects for our “Wall of Fame,” then you get to pick a prize from our toy chest.
Play the “Elf on a Shelf” & Other Holiday Games
Two mischievous elves are hiding in the Withee Library and can’t be found. Go on a scavenger hunt to find them. If you find one then you win a book, but if you find both then you win a book and a prize from our toy chest. We also have other games all set up and ready to play. Swing by and have fun!
LEGO Club
The next LEGO Club at the Withee Library will be on Friday, December 5, from 3:30-4:45 p.m. All participants will be provided with drinks and snacks. Also, try checking out one of our LEGO Kits from our Learning LEGO Express program for up to two weeks. All you need is a library card.
Withee Library hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Notice: The Library will be closed on Thursday, December 25 for Christmas.
