The Owen-Withee Elementary School held a Read-In event on Friday, March 6 with parents and grandparents joining with students to spend 45 minutes reading books. Readers could be found in the hallways, elementary gym and elementary library. Sometimes the adults read to the kids and sometimes the kids read to the adults. The event is held every year in conjunction with a week of activities around Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
