• We held Homecoming festivities at Owen-Withee during the week of September 23-27, including dress up days throughout the week, hall decorating, and on Friday during the school day we did activities such as powder puff football games, volleyball games, and other games in the gym.
• During the week of October 21-25, we did activities to support Red Ribbon Week, which promotes having an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle. For this, we had dress up days and held an assembly in which we discussed the importance of Red Ribbon Week and had games in the gym.
• On November 11, student council hosted a Veterans Day assembly open to all students and teachers, as well as community members. Veterans from American Legion Post 123 of Owen, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 123 of Owen, American Legion Post 547 of Lublin, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 547 of Lublin, Sons of the American Legion Post 547 of Lublin and VFW Post 9057 of Thorp attended and there were various speeches about the importance of Veterans Day and showing gratitude toward our veterans.
• On November 26, we held a Thanksgiving assembly, where we did various games, including the much anticipated tradition of turkey bowling.
• On the afternoon of the last day of school before Christmas break (December 20), student council is planning activities for students, such as Christmas movies, board games, video games, and others.
• We are also planning events for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day, but we don't have details for what exactly we will do for those days yet.
