The Owen-Withee Lions Club along with Prevail Bank and Forward Bank are working together to provide school supplies to students in need. The annual Stuff the Bus program began on July 30 and will run until August 26. During that time people may drop off school supplies at Prevail Bank in Owen and Forward Bank in Withee. Especially needed supplies include #2 pencils, colored pencils, wide ruled notebooks, two pocket folders, earbuds, large glue sticks, Clorox wipes, Expo markers, and boys and girls athletic shoes. Supplies will be dropped off at the O-W Elementary School by the first day of school.
The Lions Club and Thrivent Financial are also providing funds to purchase supplies. Let's all work together to make this a successful community project.
