Susan Nelson, former Owen-Withee Elementary teacher, was invited to be a guest reader during story time in the library. She was known for being an excellent reader who brought the story characters to life and added special touches to the readings.
Susan brought one of her favorite autumn books entitled “The Leaf Thief.” After reading this fun book, she showered the kids with autumn leaves. The kids loved it and each were able to pick a leaf as a memento.
