On Wednesday, December 3, Linda Susa, who has managed the Owen branch of Prevail Bank for the past 12 years, was honored by community members and co-workers. As of December 3, Linda is officially retired.
Linda said it was finally starting to sink in, that she didn’t have to get up and go to work in the morning. She said she will miss the customers and fellow employees the most.
Linda has a long to-do-list, so plans to stay busy. She wants to spend more time with family. She is also planning on doing some traveling, with the first trip to Phoenix, AZ to visit family taking place mid-winter.
When asked why she was retiring now, Linda’s response was, “It seems to be the right time for retirement.”
Throughout the day, many people stopped in to say their goodbyes. Food was also served to those who attended.
