Buckets for Hunger, Incorporated, is asking for your help for the 13th Annual “Buckets for Hunger Food Pantry Challenge.” The event runs from November 1 thru December 1, 2026.
All we ask is a monetary donation made out to “Buckets for Hunger.” Buckets will match twenty-five cents (or more) for every dollar that you donate. In the memo of your check write FOTV. A $100 donation to Buckets for Hunger can help provide hundreds of pounds of food to local families because pantries purchase food at wholesale prices and leverage donated inventory.
“Fruit of the Vine Food Pantry” (FOTV) serves over 170 families each month and it continues to grow from the Stanley, Thorp, Lublin, Boyd, Owen, Withee and Gilman communities. All of the dollars you contribute (checks must be made out to Buckets for Hunger) are returned to your food pantry through Buckets for Hunger, Inc. Please mail your donations to “Trinity Vineyard Church, P.O. Box 46, Stanley, WI 54768 – “in the memo put FOTV food pantry” by November 30, 2026.
This event provides a simple, painless and effective approach to a major issue concerning a basic human need which has increased due to the increased cost of food. Remember, every dollar contributed helps buy food for the needy because of the matching funds.
There is no paid staff at Buckets for Hunger or the FOTV food pantry so no money goes for compensation or benefits.
Thank you for helping us to “wipe away the tears of hunger.”
