In 2025, librarian Megan Kelsey has created a monthly challenge for people who want to create a “greener” life. Pick up your challenge at the beginning of each month. We’ll post the challenge on Facebook as well and you can comment there on how the challenge is going for you. January’s challenge - Buy Smarter.

Owen-Withee Book Club

The book club meets at the library every third Tuesday of the month. New members are always welcome. This is a fun, “no-pressure” group.

Lunch and Learn

Senior citizens can meet at the Owen Community Center at 10:30 for lunch and a speaker or activity.

Next meetings and topics:

  • February 26 - Mastering your Smartphone. Crystal Walthers of the UW-Extension will give a presentation on using smartphones with confidence. FBLA students will be on hand to give one-on-one help.
  • March 26 - Avoiding Scams - Join Police Chief Patrick Fehlman for a presentation on how to identify and avoid scams.
