The golf course was wet with periodic rains leaving the fairways soggy with standing water, but playable after last weeks cancellation. But the sun shining brightly and temperatures in the high 70’s was enough to have 14 committed golfers show up to compete. Team captains were chosen and by drawing cards, four evenly matched teams were formed. This week, individual scores were counted and compared to each members golfing average. The winning team shot their average with all other teams scoring over their average. The winning team consisted of captain Dale Raatz, John Boss, Rick Raatz and Sandy Hansen. LeRoy Wellman excelled on the Par 3 holes with his shots on holes 2 and 6 ending up closest to the pin. Al Lulloff won the longest putt contest on the 9th hole. The Fun League is held every Tuesday during the summer. If interested, show up before or by 9:45 for check in.
