On December 13 the Hawks traveled to Greenwood and defeated the Indians 44-17. The Blackhawks pressured right from the start and got 11 steals with their trapping defense in the first half. Offensively we moved the ball well against the Indians' zone defense. We also had some nice post passes inside. Talon Mueller came up big hitting 4 three-pointers and 16 points in the half. The Hawks led 29-6 on 13 of 31 shooting.
Coming out the second half the Blackhawks continued to play good defense and took care of the ball pretty well with 13 turnovers for the game. Troy Sherwood scored 6 points in the half to lead the team. Our depth really improved as everyone made some nice plays to help get the win.
