The JV Hawks hosted the Neillsville Warriors and lost 44-27. The Blackhawks came out and moved the ball well offensively making 7 of 16 from the field. The Hawks made 5 of 7 from the three-point line with Preston Fritz hitting 3 and Talon Mueller 2. Our defense also kept us close, getting 8 steals as the Hawks only trailed 24-23 at the half.
The second half, the Blackhawks went cold, making only two shots. We got the same open looks that we got in the first half but just couldn't get the lid off. The guys played hard, but it was one of those nights.
