The Hawks hosted three games for the week. First up was Marshfield Columbus Dons on Feb, 4. In a great game the Blackhawks fell short 43-36. The Hawks took care of the ball, handling the Dons' press. We also moved the ball well with five players scoring. The Blackhawks trailed 26-18 at the half. Our trap continued to get a few steals in the second half, getting a few easy baskets. The Hawks would get the lead down to five but no closer.

Next up on Feb. 6, the Blackhawks took on the Colby Hornets and lost 53-42. It was a close one throughout with Colton Paczkowski scoring 10 points. in the first half. The Hawks trailed 30-26 at the break. Coming out the second half the Hornets would stretch their lead to seven points. The Hawks wouldn't go away, cutting the lead down to 3 points. late but the Hornets hit some free throws and a three to seal it.

The Hawks finished the week up taking on the Spencer Rockets and got the win 49-34 on Feb. 7. The Blackhawks broke things loose taking a 31-6 lead at the half. Our defense really set the tone as the guys did a heck of a job with the trap. The Blackhawks continued to work well in the second half as eight players would score. It was a great way to end the week. Everyone stepped up and played some good team ball.
