The JV Hawks traveled to Greenwood January 30 and defeated the Indians 58-27. The Blackhawks came out on fire, getting 14 first half steals, getting some fastbreak baskets. Eight players scored with Peterson, Ruggles and Wilczek all hitting threes. The Hawks took a 31-11 lead into the locker room at halftime.
The second half saw the Blackhawks continue to control the game. We took care of the ball, having only 7 turnovers as the guys passed the ball well. Our guards did a nice job getting it inside to the post players. Ashton Paczkowski led the team with 10 rebounds and Tegan Treankler 8. It was nice to see balanced scoring from the team as everyone contributed to get a road win. Great job!
